Pathashala Information

ADULT PATHASHALA
Adult Pathashala Sessions will be held twice a month (1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 10:00 AM to Noon). Teaching includes some basic concepts in Jainism as well as help adults with "gathas". Session will take place at Ashwin and Nipa Turakhia's residence in Brecksville from 10:00AM to Noon. Hansa Sutaria will be conducting Adult Pathshala on 1st Sundays and Nalini Shah will be conducting every 3rd Sunday of each month.

Children's PATHASHALA
Childrens Pathshala takes place twice a month (1st and 3rd Sunday of every month from 10:00 AM to Noon). If any of the members or their children are interseted in attending the Pathshala please call Ashwin and Nipa Turakhia. We currently have 30 children enrolled and would love more participation.

Directions:
From 77 south : Take exit for Brecksville and then go about 3 miles on 82 east. Take left on Cinnabar drive (development name is Emerald Woods). Then take 2nd right on Crystal Creek dr and house is on right side in cul de sac.
From 77 north : Take exit for Brecksville (not brecksville road). Make right turn at exit and then follow directions as above.
From 271 south : Take exit for Macedonia and route 82. Go for about 5 miles and make right turn on cinnabar drive and then follow as above.

14^th year of enlightenment thru 'Learning & brain storming'  

Jain Study Group Sessions are held usually on second Sunday of each month from 2.00 - 4.00 pm at the residence of host family. Please come with family & friends and participate in the interactive learning to enrich your knowledge in the Principles & Philosophy of Jain Dharma. Currently the group is studying Chapter 8 of ‘Tattvarth-Sutra', the most widely accepted and studied amongst Jain scriptures. We are following a text book in Gujarati and a supplementary Q/A book in Hindi. The study is interactive at a slow pace covering Tattvarth-Sutra in details and in depth, still keeping it as simple as possible. There are elaborate discussions, inputs, and Q/A in Gujarati, Hindi and English. Any one with some background and exposure to the principles of Jainism should be able to understand and learn the topics. This is a long awaited and rare opportunity of studying 'Tattvarth-Sutra, while in US and in a relaxed environment. I encourage all of you to give some priority to Jain Study group in your schedule and come once a month to participate.
